How Do I Estimate
the Cost
of Yahoo! Product Submit |
|
There
are many factors in determining how much you will pay in
a cost-per-click-based program. One way to estimate your
costs is to consider the number of leads you currently
receive from Yahoo! Shopping. Then multiply the number
of leads by the current category rates for your products
and subtract 20% to estimate your Yahoo! Store merchant
discount.
To get the approximate cost-per-click cost for your
store:
1. Go to your Store Manager.
2. Click "Reference"
3. Choose "Last 30 days/visits"
4. Add up all the page views for URL's containing
"Yahoo! Shopping" (e.g.
http://search.shopping.yahoo.com).
5. Multiply that number by the cost-per-click
rate for your product category

6. Then subtract 20% of the total to estimate how
much you would pay on a cost-per-click basis.
